"This small bar and restaurant is efficiently run by friendly people who clearly enjoy what they are doing and want their customers to feel welcome. The bar provides the atmosphere for buzzing apres ski ( some truly talented musicians adding to it) and then later becomes more relaxed for people to enjoy well made cocktails and some very good food both at the bar and especially downstairs in the intimate restaurant. We really enjoyed the fine dining tasting menu which was worthy of high praise. This standard of food would normally be eaten on starched white table cloths with intimidating waiters looking on ... this is not the case here. The service is pleasantly informal but still attentive, The menu was innovative and unusual. Again, great live music added to the experience. There are lots of places to enjoy in Zermatt but we highly recommend The Snowboat!"
